My dear friends and family,
The Lord has been working in my life so much over the last year and a half. After walking obediently in the direction that I felt God was leading me, I recently made the decision to transfer schools, move home, and allow God to use me wherever he wanted me here. Since then, my world has been completely rocked by Him and I am so filled with joy as I continue to walk with Him obediently. I am so thrilled to see how God is using me here and the wonderful opportunities that He has given me. I have constantly been challenged and stretched and God has continued to reassure me that His plan is far greater than anything I could ever imagine. I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity that the Lord has laid upon my heart. From August 7th through August 16 God has offered me the chance to serve in Togo, West Africa through the Kipuke Ministry. This 10-day missions trip will be reaching out and spreading the gospel through assisting the medically needy and loving the people of Togo.
While God has opened up a door for me to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, the exciting part is that you will be able to share in this compassion in several ways. First, I ask that you will join me in prayer for the people of Togo and my fellow mission team. Please ask that God will prepare our hearts and minds for service and bless the people of Togo. My ultimate prayer is that this trip will glorify God through everything that we do and that through our work, we will further the Kingdom of God.
Another way to can be involved in to consider helping me by providing financial support. My fear has crippled me from answering God's call on so many occassions, so I am stepping out in faith knowing that God WILL provide. I will need to raise $2,200 by April first with an additional $1,000 balance due on June 15th in order to make my way to Togo. I ask that you will go to the Lord in prayer before making a decision and give according to how you feel led.
