I've been studying filmmaking since I was thirteen years old. I started when I began attending classes at Light House Studio in Charlottesville and now, five years later, I am a freshman in the SUNY Purchase Film Conservatory. At the end of the year, we will be screening our freshman thesis films. Mine is currently in pre-production and it's going to be big.
Set in the not-too-distant future, my film tells the story of a man named Craig. Craig lives a life of solitude, his only companion being the robot he built himself. Over time, he grows dissatisfied with this synthetic relationship and decides to pursue interactions with real human beings. The film follows him as he steps out of his comfort zone and into the cold, uninviting, dystopian world outside.
My producer and I have crunched the numbers and the cost of production for this film is $400. We need this money to buy the props, rent out certain locations, transportation, and feeding our cast and crew. That's where we need your help.
If you would be willing to donate any money to help reach that goal, the film will be that much better. Any amount helps, but the more the better. I need your help to get this done. Thank you for your support. I can't wait for you to see the finished product.
