We are in our last stretch to finish paying for our New York trip for Paige. We are looking to raise funds to cover travel expenses, our stay, and any other unforeseen expenses!

Paige and her dance team won an invitation at a dance competition to travel to a dance convention in New York. The trip is happening July 2024! This dance experience is a once in a lifetime event! It includes dance classes with the world famous Rockettes, two broadway shows, a semi-formal dinner cruise, a tour of Radio City Music Hall, a tour of Central Park, and much more!! What's more impressive about this invitation is that we are a very small dance team from a very small studio in a small town in Central Oregon.
Paige loves to perform! She wants to do everything and this experience will teach her so much.
Dance does not come easily for Paige. She has to work so hard and she does even when she's tired. On top of that, we (her parents) noticed that Paige was often spacey in class and unable to focus well. We were noticing this at school, as well. We were eventually given the diagnosis of ADHD and we were able to start treatment for her. Her focus and ability has dramatically increased. To say we were stunned is an understatement. While ADHD is not a life threatening diagnosis, the daily struggle impacts every aspect of life and it was so hard to see her struggle with focus, academics, dance and emotions. As parents, all we want is for Paige to follow her dreams and to simply be happy! We have seen such improvement for her in the last several months and it has been such a complete life changer. She is more focused, driven, successful in school and a much happier child.
We absolutely adore her and are so incredibly proud of her. She is an outstanding person and we are very blessed to be her parents.
We are also very involved in her dance life. Her dad is a total Dance Dad and he rocks it! He goes above and beyond, not only for Paige, but for other dance families that need help! From carpool driver, to fundraising, to making floats for our parades, and even to announcing our dancers at our recent dance recital.
So it makes sense that he would be going on this New York Adventure with Paige and mom. Because he would never want to miss Paige's first experience in the big city. The excitement and learning experience she will have is also a once in a lifetime experience for us too! Our costs are more expensive because of this, and our studio fundraising is only able to contribute to two travelers.
So here we are doing a last minute fundraiser for Paige!!
