I have been playing soccer since I was a 8 years old. I always wrote on my school paper for my dream job is to be a professional soccer player. To be able to achieve and play in the deaflympics is a dream come true. I play any position although mainly forward and wing. I was born deaf and wear 2 hearing aids to help me hear and communicate with other people. Some interesting facts about me is that I am a huge gym rat and love fitness. I like to run Spartan races, any kind of obstacle races, and Hyrox. I also like to cycle! I love to inspire others to do well in their fitness journey and inspire kids to try any sports they want. I like to be able to be a role model for younger kids and show them that no disability should keep them from achieving any dream they have. I am very happy to be respresenting my country.
The Deaflympics take place every 4 years, and I have the opportunity to complete as one of forty-four elite d/Deaf or Hard of Hearing (HoH) athletes in our country. I will be representing the United States as part of the delegation attending this event, and I need your support to attend in this once in a life time event. Soccer is just one of 21 different sporting events offered at the 2022 Deaflympics. The event will start with an Opening Ceremonies, followed by 14 days of intense competition, and a Closing Ceremonies. Check out the information the the 2022 Deaflympics website: Click Here
Please consider a donation to my efforts. Any amount will take me closer to my goal. I need to raise $6,000 for the 14 day once in a lifetime experience!
Note: The money from this fundraiser will go towards USADSA (100%) and its support of the USDWNT & USDMNT as they compete in the 2022 Deaflympics May 1st-15th in Caxias do Sul, Brazil.
