North Carolina Hurricane Relief

More Info

Hurricane Helene produced catastrophic damage to the mountain areas of North Carolina. Close to 3 feet of rain fell leading up to the storm and during, which led to mudslides, overflowing rivers, dam failures, road wash outs, bridge collapses, and destruction of water mains and power supplies. Some of the more remote areas in the mountains are faced with weeks, or months, before they will have running water and power again. Roads and bridges to some areas will take months or longer to repair. Homes that were on river banks have been washed away completely, total losses for many families. In the short term, these families need necessities: non perishable food, water,  basic clothing, medications. This is going to be a long healing and rebuilding process for many, and they will need our support for the long term. Any bit of help is appreciated beyond words.
