I am a writer and author who knows what it is like to be a kid and be hungry. Today, 1 in 5 kids are hungry, and most of them keep it a secret. Kids who are hunrgy do poor in school, get sick more often, and are too embarassed to tell anyone. When I looked for books on the subject, I found only a few. Oliver's Hunger Dragon is a story about a little boy who thinks he is the only one who hears his dragon rumble and grumble until . . . .
I am self-publsihing this book through Halo International, and a percentage of the proeeds will be donated to the No Kid Hungry Campaign.
