Help us give back to those who make a difference each and every day - no amount is too little.
Our Mission with this fundraiser that aligns with the Memorial Golf Tournament on October 13th, 2015, is to give back to the local community organizations who help save lives every day, drive awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation and help save the lives of countless animals. All of this in honor of a man who continues to give life to others - Martin Klaiber.
These three 501(3c) organizations are all important to our mission and below is just a quick snippet of how they are making a difference each and every day in our community.
The Loudoun First Responders Foundation (http://www.loudounfrf.org/) mission is to financially support any individual Loudoun County public safety officer (and their family) facing needs arising from injury, illness, and conditions incurred in the line of duty. They are typically forgotten as they are first to arrive and first to leave, so I feel it is important that we remember what they do day in and day out and help support them when they need it.
The Washington Regional Transplant Community (http://www.beadonor.org/) is the local organization who works tirelessly to recover organs and tissues by preserving every donation option, excelling in recovery and placement, and providing care for donors and their families. Their values say it all - Compassion, Diversity, Leadership, Honor, Stewardship and Trust.
Tails of Hope (http://www.tails-of-hope.org/) is a network of foster care providers in MD, PA & VA. They promote healthy, safe and responsible pet guardianship, focus on educating the public about the need for spaying and neutering pets and meeting their pet's nutritional requirements, educate on the health dangers of over-vaccinating.and emphasize why training is so important and what is involved in being a responsible pet guardian. In addition to this, they rescue dogs who are facing euthanasia and provide a safe place for them while they await permanent homes, and they free up much-needed space at shelters. Their commitment to giving these animals a chance at a healthy and happy life goes beyond words.
