Panel Discussion, Restoring Trust: Addressing Past Abuse

My name is LaTishia LaNier-Mckinnie I am an author, with two impactful books, "Today's Pastors, Yesterday's Kings" and "Generational Curses No More!" Additionally, I am is a sought-after speaker at leadership conferences. I share  my wisdom as an educator, mentoring music directors and worship leaders, church leaders and more in NJ and Tennessee. I host the podcast "The Talk Storm," dedicated to healing the church from past abuse and violations. My ultimate goal is to aid in the restoration of the victims by addressing wounds, correcting failures, and guiding towards healing and reconciliation.

My campaign is dedicated to raising funds for my upcoming panel discussion, which seeks to delve into the crucial role the church can play in community healing. We aim to address the enduring impacts of past abuses and the culture of secrecy perpetuated by leadership and others, which has often veiled these issues. Esteemed panelists will share strategies for fostering transparency, accountability, and trust within church communities. They will also discuss ways to support and provide restitution for victims. This session will offer practical steps and initiatives for church leaders and congregations to implement, ensuring a future grounded in openness, integrity, law abiding efforts and healing.

In my own life and through the stories shared by guests on my show, I've gained a deep empathy and understanding for those who have suffered from abuse. Experiencing the same fear and powerlessness, I'm driven by a mission to provide the support and hope needed for survivors to break free from their circumstances, break the cycle of abuse, and reclaim their lives. Drawing strength from my faith and the lessons learned, I aspire to inspire and empower others to find healing and redemption.

In pursuit of this mission, I am committed to utilizing various platforms such as speaking engagements, counseling sessions, panel discussions, and more. I will persist in these efforts until I have reached as many individuals as possible, offering assistance and guidance to those in need until their lives have been positively impacted
