We are working on getting non-profit status for the Pecan Park Campground Flood Relief. Several people have offered help if we can get a 501c3 status. It will cost us $450. Can anyone help with that amount?http://fundly.com/pecan-park-campground-flood-relief

More Info

On Oct. 31 a huge flood on the Blanco river flooded Pecan Park Campground.  The owners, David and Rachael Rowley did everything they could, but there wasn't enough time to prepare.  The park was under nearly 4 feet of water including The Rowley's home.  The flooding caused massive property damage.  60-80 rigs were destroyed. There is no water or electricity.  Employees have been left with no income, no homes, no vehicles, nothing but some clothes.

The Rowley's are no stranger to heartbreak and hard times, as their youngest son was in a terrible accident last spring and had to spend 17 days in the hospital and months having treatment.   Both of the Rowley's have injuries, David's sustained in the flood.  Both David and Rachael's parents also lost everything in the same flood in Austin, so their support system is crippled.

The people of Pecan Park Campground are wiped out and barely treading water.  Some have no home at all.  They need help.  Please help in any way you can.

If you have any type of construction, equipment operation, cleanup experience, group meal cooking willingness, etc please know that we need volunteers to help us do this of you have any spare time!

The Rowley children could also really use some new bikes to replace the ones lost in the flood.  They need two bikes.  One sixteen inch and one eighteen inch.
