Hi, I'm Issy and I'd like to tell you about my fundraising challenges.
This year (2025) I'm aiming to complete an 800km triathlon. This is the equilvalent distance of the width of Peru at the widest point. I will swim 26km, cycle 626km and run 148km (that's 3.5 marathons!). I am doing this to raise money to travel with Camps International to Peru for 4 weeks of personal development and charitable project work.
I also intend to walk the round-Chesterfield walk in a single day as another sponsored event. It's a distance of 55km.
The money you donate will go towards helping me raise the money needed to travel and for me to assist in a variety of project work. This includes community development work, wildlife conservation, environmental conservation, and a personal challenge (trekking up Machu Picchu).
The core objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects in order to:
- Raise the educational standards of developing communities within a rural district of Peru.
- Raise the living standards of developing communities, within a rural district of Peru.
- Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programs to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats.
