Phillippi Shores Community Garden

Our goal is to create a school garden that gives our students a unique opportunity to better understand their relationship with nature, create a dynamic environment for learning core subjects and promote a healthy lifestyle. We want to teach our children to conserve natural resources and preserve the environment.  A garden project often will encourage a student's self-confidence, sense of responsibility and develop a sense of belonging to a community.

We are in the beginning stages of planting our garden.  The beds have been installed, irrigation is in, dirt is in and we are beginning to plant seedlings.  Now we need a fence to protect our beautiful garden.
