Due to a complex set of circumstances, I find myself in a severe financial crisis. My health has deteriorated significantly due to long-term Covid symptoms, leaving me unable to work and forcing me to rely on a limited income. The situation is further complicated by the ongoing legal proceedings for my Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims, which have been pending since September 2021.

The impact of my health conditions is far-reaching. I have undergone two major spinal surgeries, each costing a substantial $70,000. Additionally, I require regular spinal injections priced at $2,200 every two months. These medical expenses, coupled with the costs associated with my special diet necessitated by long Covid complications, have drained my limited resources.

My disability has also affected my ability to perform daily tasks. As a left-handed individual, the loss of use of my left arm and hand has severely limited my independence. This has made it difficult to manage basic activities, let alone secure employment.

Furthermore, I have been under a court-ordered protection order since 2000, which is set to expire in 2062. This designation as a protected person through the Secretary of State adds another layer of complexity to my situation, as it limits my ability to access certain resources and support systems.

The combination of these factors has left me in a precarious financial position. With limited income and mounting medical expenses, I have been forced to rely on minimal funds, barely enough to cover essential needs. This has resulted in a constant struggle to make ends meet, and I am at risk of becoming homeless. The recent repossession of my car, which I had worked hard to acquire, has further exacerbated my situation, as it has limited my mobility and ability to seek employment.

I am currently navigating a complex legal process to secure the necessary benefits to support myself. However, the process is lengthy and uncertain, leaving me in a state of financial insecurity. Any assistance, whether in the form of financial support or access to essential resources, would be invaluable in helping me weather this challenging period and maintain my basic needs.
