According to a report of colonel Lucian Tatsa-LaurHead Of The Health Department, Health Corps, ID, one in four soldiers used the army’s mental health services and met with either a psychiatrist or a mental health officer.“At least 1,000 of these soldiers have been diagnosed with acute stress disorders,” department head Colonel Lucian Tatsa-Laur told Israeli newspaper TheMarker. The IDF has recognized the importance of addressing mental health issues, including PTSD, among its soldiers. They have implemented various programs and initiatives aimed at preventing, identifying, and treating PTSD and other mental health conditions.
These efforts include providing mental health support services, counseling, and access to specialized treatment centersStand in solidarity with Israeli soldiers grappling with PTSD by ensuring that donations specifically designated for PTSD support reach them directly via MBA (Mental Health, Behavioral health) at Israel Defense Forces.
