Raising Luke

I am raising my 2nd cousin and have been since he was a baby.  My cousin was a drug addict and prostitute and she ended up getting pregnant and at 4 month along she called me not knowing what to do. I told her to call me when she has him so I can be there. There was no way she was going to be able to leave that hospital with him because of her drug use. She hadn't seen him but twice since he was born and unfortunetely passed away 3 years ago due to drugs. I have now had Luke in my custody for 13 years and I'm all he knows as a mom. I will be using any funds raised to buy Luke school supplies and new school clothes for the upcoming school year.
