Hello, I’m Asaad Al-Haddad, a Musician and Father in Urgent Need of Your Help

My name is Asaad, a 41-year-old musician, husband, and father, reaching out to you during one of the most challenging moments of my life. I’ve dedicated my life to music, but now I face a devastating health crisis that threatens my ability to hear—and create—the music that defines who I am. Recently, I was diagnosed with a severe condition requiring emergency surgery, and I don’t have the means to cover the costs. I’m asking for your support to save my hearing, support my family, and help us build a stable future.

*A Life Fueled by Music, Now at Risk*

Music has been my passion since I was a child. Despite having no resources, I taught myself to play the guitar, working tirelessly to afford my first instruments. My love for rock music led me to form my band, “About Silver,” and we achieved small but meaningful victories—two of our songs won awards in Classic Rock Magazine's Song of the Week contests, earning praise for a sound reminiscent of legends like David Gilmour and Scorpions. These moments were a lifeline, proof that dreams can survive even the hardest times. But now, my ability to create music is under threat.

I was recently diagnosed with a deviated septum and nasal polyps, a condition so advanced that it has damaged my auditory nerve. As a musician, this is catastrophic—my hearing is everything. Without surgery, I risk permanent hearing loss, which would not only end my career but also shatter my ability to provide for my family through the one thing I’ve always relied on: my music.

*A Family Facing Immense Hardship*

My wife, a soprano singer and architect, has been my rock. Together, we’ve built a life from scratch, welcoming our son, Billy, who is now 5 years old, and we’re expecting our second child soon. But we’ve faced relentless struggles. After losing our jobs, we were forced to sell everything we owned—including our beloved musical instruments—just to afford necessities like food and medicine. Every day is a battle to keep our family afloat, and now, this health crisis has pushed us to the edge.

*Dreaming of a Better Future for My Son*

In just four months, my son Billy will start first grade, a milestone that fills me with both pride and worry. I want nothing more than to give him the education he deserves—a chance to learn, grow, and thrive in a safe environment. But the costs of school fees, uniforms, and supplies are far beyond what I can afford right now. I refuse to let my son’s future be limited by our current struggles, and I’m determined to provide him with the opportunities I never had.

*An Urgent Surgery and a Path Forward*

I need emergency surgery to correct the deviated septum and remove the nasal polyps in hopes of saving my hearing. The cost is far beyond what I can afford, but it’s my only chance to continue creating music and supporting my family. Beyond this immediate need, I dream of starting a small music studio—a space where I can record our songs, teach music to children, and build a sustainable income for my family. This project is more than a business; it’s a way to transform our struggles into something hopeful and lasting through the power of music.

*How You Can Help*

I’m asking for your support to raise $25000 to achieve the following:

- Cover the cost of my emergency surgery to save my hearing.

- Provide essentials like food and medicine for my family during my recovery.

- Pay for Billy’s school fees, uniform, and supplies as he starts first grade in four months.

- Start a small music studio to create a stable future for us. Every dollar you contribute will make a difference. I promise to document every step, sharing updates on my surgery, recovery, Billy’s school journey, and how your donations are helping us rebuild.

*Thank You for Giving Us Hope*

I’m not asking for a handout but for a chance to keep creating, to keep dreaming, and to give my family the future they deserve. If you believe in the power of music, resilience, and hope, please consider donating or sharing this campaign. Even the smallest contribution brings us closer to healing, education, and stability.

With endless gratitude, Asaad, my wife, Billy, and our unborn child
