Janet is a beloved community member for many people. While incarcerated she earned two PhDs and served as a mentor and support system for many other incarcerated survivors. She also supported the Prison + Neighborhood Arts/Education Project's pilot program.
After being incarcerated for decades she needs community support. Her social security has not yet come through and there's been a delay with her anticipated housing situation.
Funds will be used for re entry needs and basic necessities like food, housing, and more.
