United Way ReadingPals Take-Home Books

United Way's ReadingPals program focuses on children in VPK programs across Citrus County.  Volunteers read with the same two students for one hour a week for 30 weeks.  The goal of this program is to increase Kindergarten Readiness Skills, build a positive and influential relationship, and increase confidence in these students.  Another goal for this program is to provide "take-home" books for these children to help grow their in home libraries.  Every donation made will go directly towards this initiative to help foster the love of reading!
