I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea to assist my friend, colleague, and mentor - Maher Mohomed - who needs $120K to evacuate 12 members of his immediate family from Gaza.
His elderly mother, siblings, cousins, and young nieces/nephews, who have been displaced multiple times in the past three months, have no choice but to turn to the world for help to survive. The funds will be used to pay for the costly evacuation fees, transportation, housing, and food.
Rajaa Yousef, Zuhair Mohammed, Raghad Zuhair, Mohammed Zuhair, Rula Khader, Zena Zuhair, Rola Mohammed, Ahmed Bader, Sara Bader, Razan Bader, Yasmeen Bader, and Bader Ahmed are facing dire circumstances where their daily survival is challenged, including severe food insecurity, and could be upended in the blink of an eye.

Here is Maher’s personal plea for assistance:
My life, along with my family's, has been turned upside down due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza. We have lost everything - our people, homes, our businesses and means of income, and worst of all, our sense of security and livelihood.
The situation in Gaza is dire, with each passing day bringing more uncertainty and danger. The constant threat of violence and instability has made it impossible for us to rebuild our lives here. Every night is filled with fear and uncertainty, wondering if we will wake up to yet another day of devastation and desperation.
That's why I am turning to you for help. With your support, I hope to evacuate my family from Gaza to a place of safety and stability. Our immediate priority is to find shelter and basic necessities to survive, but we cannot do it alone.
Your generous contributions will go towards covering the costs of transportation, temporary housing, food, and other essential needs for my family during this difficult time. Your support will not only help us rebuild our lives but also provide us with the chance to start anew, free from the constant threat of violence and destruction.
