Update #3

While the Iraq Election have been completed, there is not clear "winner'. None of the parties received sufficient votes to mandate their formation of a government. THerefore they are now in the phase of Forming a Government.. We will continue to support Arabia until she takes her place in the Government!

More Info

Arabiya is standing for Iraq Parliament as a representative from her home area of Mosul. She has been committed to and involved in the reconstruction of Iraq for more than a decade.  Despite the extreme conditions of the past decades and being a female head of household,  she has successfully raised four children who are all now  adults who are working and/or studying. Arabiya is aligned with Civilian Democratic Alliance led by Dr. Ghassan Atiyyah . The Civilian Democratic Alliance is a non-sectarian political party that is 100% committed to the transformation of Iraq into the thriving modern state that it has the potential to be. Clearly, as representatives of Mosul, their initial focus will be on the rebuilding of Mosul which has been decimated by the occupation by DAESH. Despite the enormity of the challenge, Arabia is responding to the call to service in Mosul and Iraq. She brings a reputation for honesty and self-sacrifice to the responsibility of being a member of Iraq Parliament. She also brings an extraordinary talent for intercultural bridge building.  However, she cannot do this alone. She needs our help. Please kindly contribute to support her expenses during the Parliament Elections campaign. Please respond as quickly as possible as she has already started her campaign for the May 12th election. All donations are being collected, documented and processed by Iraqi Center for Dialog,  DUNS 085472928 registered under IRS Code Section 501 (c) (3)

Update #2

Please consider supporting Arabia in her courageous stand for Iraq Parliament. Here is a rough breakdown of her expenses:
Tkt from USA TO BAGHDAD $1138
House rent for 2.5 months $2590
Car rent for 2 month s3000
Hospitality for voters $4500
Press media tv and meetings locations $8000
Total $25138

I think this is a very thrifty budget for such a very important election that will decide the future of Iraq and have a great impact on the region.
