Recovery Help Needed for Disabled LGBT Couple

My partner and I are in a bad spot and need help. If you have anything to spare, we would be so grateful; if you can’t afford it, even sharing this link would mean the world to us - please don’t risk your own financial security for us.

Until recently, we were in a triad. Our third partner was emotionally, physically and financially abusive; they recently took the car and left us with no transportation and a ton of debt - my partner and I are both physically disabled, and my partner struggles with day to day mobility, so losing the car (that was paid for primarily by me) makes our life significantly less safe. Meg is staying with us until we’re able to get a car of our own, but that isn’t a long-term solution, and she needs to be able to get back to her own life.

On top of taking the car, she also left us without the means to pay our rent; we’re renting from close friends, but they can’t pay their bills if we can’t pay ours, and now they’re being forced to sell the house we live in because they can’t afford it anymore. It’s a scary place to be in and a shitty thing to do to friends we care about so much. 

I am still working but I’m not making enough hours currently with my health as unstable as it’s been. We’re doing all we can to look into resources and various options, we just need a hand leveling out. 

Anything you’re able to help with would be so incredibly appreciated! We’re behind on our rent, our phone service is turned off because we’re not able to pay it, we need to fill our propane tank so we have heat, and we need to scrape together the down payment for a car - if we can get Meg and Forrest caught up, maybe they don’t have to sell the house, but otherwise we need to save to move as well.
