Roots Ohana is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities through arts, music, sovereignty, and co-creation. By fostering collaborative efforts, we work with the land to sustain organic food production, curate healing spaces, and fundraise through annual conscious music festivals aimed at promoting healing on a large scale. Roots Ohana teaches the art of sustainability in harmony with the land, focusing on healing arts, creative entrepreneurial projects, and investment. We believe in giving back, co-creation, and energy exchanges. Through love and unity, we aim to bridge divides, unite communities, and fund projects that have social, economic, and political impacts on communities and lands that are illegally occupied and exploited. Food sustainability is crucial in an agricultural state facing capitalist control and power, where over 80% of food is exported for profit. Sovereignty is asserted on the land.
Our intention is to host large-scale international conscious music festivals annually. The profits from these events will be reinvested into the project and its development, with a high potential for generating funds that can be directed toward community efforts and addressing local issues.
