Our mission is to deliver naloxone nasal spray to as many households as we can, along with providing information about naloxone and the growing fentanyl crisis. By doing so, we strive to help prevent future overdoses.

Prior to the creation of SafeguardOD, our mother's friend Beth Weinstock's son Eli died from an accidental fentanyl overdose. She then started her own nonprofit, called BirdieLight. This lit a spark in our hearts and we quickly grew a passion for the movement. We noticed how little our town had done to educate students and their families. This intensified our desire to bring awareness about the fentanyl crisis. After more research, we started SafeguardOD.
