Save for Vape

When someone says “school party,” you don’t always expect something memorable. But that changed this semester with the ATL Mint Geek Bar Pulse X 25000-themed party hosted in the central courtyard of our school. What was originally supposed to be a casual end-of-term gathering turned into one of the most hyped and talked-about events of the year, combining creativity, aesthetic design, music, and a sense of community—all under the fresh, invigorating vibe of “ATL Mint.”

A Flavor-Inspired Theme (Without the Vape)

Let’s clear one thing up—no, this wasn’t a party for vaping, and there were definitely no vape products on campus. Instead, the ATL Mint Geek Bar Pulse X 25000 was used purely as an aesthetic and creative concept. With the explosion of pop culture influence from the world of lifestyle products and tech-inspired design, our student council decided to throw a party that took its inspiration from the cool color palette, neon lighting, and urban feel of one of the most visually striking disposable vape designs in the market.

Why "ATL Mint"? The name conjures a fresh, energetic vibe—something that fits our generation’s obsession with minimalism, freshness, and city life. The icy blue-green tones and the sleek look of the Geek Bar Pulse X were transformed into design elements that lit up our school.

The Planning: From Idea to Reality

The planning started over a month ago, led by our student council with collaboration from the Visual Arts and Music departments. We wanted something different—something that didn’t look or feel like the average “school dance.” With permission from the school administration (and a clear understanding that the theme was aesthetic-only), we began building out the vision.

Posters and teaser videos were released under the slogan: “Feel the Pulse. Refresh the Vibe.”

Students were encouraged to wear mint and silver-themed outfits, and lights were rented to give the courtyard a cyberpunk-style glow. Instead of streamers and balloons, we used LED strips, light panels, and glowing installations. A team of art students even built a 3D “Pulse X” wall prop as a selfie station.

The Setup: Lights, Beats, and Neon Dreams

By 6:00 PM on the day of the party, our courtyard had been completely transformed. The space glowed with cool neon blues and minty greens. Fog machines gently blew mist across the ground to add a surreal touch. Laser lights bounced off metallic panels, and the DJ booth stood under a glowing arch shaped like the power icon on a vape device. A giant digital countdown ran in the background—just for aesthetic, of course—mimicking the puff count display on the real Pulse X 25000.

Food and drinks were served in clear containers with LED coasters underneath. There was mint-flavored lemonade, mint chip ice cream, and even mint-lime slushies served in cups shaped like vape pods (non-functional, of course). Everything was tongue-in-cheek, edgy, but safe and school-approved.

The Soundtrack: Pulse Mode Activated

No party is complete without the right sound, and our student DJ didn’t disappoint. Inspired by the “Pulse Mode” of the Geek Bar theme, the music followed a build-and-drop structure throughout the night. Early hours featured lo-fi beats and chill synthwave. As the night progressed, things escalated into bass-heavy electronic and house music that got everyone dancing.

Some students said the music “hit just like a Pulse mode on a vape—intense, clean, and rhythmic.” Again, it was all metaphorical, and it became an inside joke for the night.

Highlights and Surprises

Around 8:00 PM, the music shifted to a dramatic remix of Billie Eilish and The Weeknd, and a spontaneous glow dance battle broke out. Dozens of students took turns showing off their moves under the rotating LED rings. The crowd chanted “Pulse! Pulse! Pulse!” during the best performances. Even teachers clapped along from the sidelines.

Later in the night, a mini runway was rolled out, and students walked their mint-themed outfits in a fashion showcase. The standout? A student who came in a full cyberpunk LED jacket that synced with the bass of the music. They won a “Mint Monarch” crown and a gift card for the local bubble tea shop.

The 3D Pulse X wall became the hotspot for selfies, with a QR code that let students upload directly to the school’s “MintFeed” digital board. Nearby, a hologram projector displayed swirling mint leaves and pixel art animations of “25K” floating in the air.

Why It Mattered

While themed parties are nothing new, this one hit differently. It felt like a celebration of youth culture—the aesthetic we live with online brought into real life. Students didn’t need alcohol, nicotine, or anything harmful to enjoy themselves. The ATL Mint Geek Bar Pulse X 25000 party showed us that design, creativity, and atmosphere could be enough.

More importantly, it brought students together. Freshmen mixed with seniors. Artists collaborated with DJs. Even the faculty complimented how immersive yet appropriate everything was.

Reflections and What’s Next

As the night ended, and the last bass drop faded into a mellow outro, students slowly made their way home. The selfie wall had over 300 uploads, the DJ got a standing ovation, and everyone left with glowing bracelets and digital mementos.

The buzz hasn’t died down even days later. In class, people are still talking about the “vibe,” asking when the next party will be. There’s even talk of a “Blue Razz Ice” themed winter formal next.

Whether it’s ATL Mint or something new, one thing’s for sure: when you mix design, music, and community, you create more than just a party—you create a memory.
