Kirara (Ki-la-la) has been with us for 7 years, she was named after the faithful cat in Inuyasha (the anime). When we first got her she weight about 2 pounds, very playful, energetic and overall the cutest cat we have ever seen.Kirara has lived a very happy life until recently. she enjoys playing with my brother sal, and her rag doll (monkey boy). She is crazy about my brother, she follows him everywhere, cuddles with him all the time, she is infatuated with him. And of course Kirara is Sal's everything. My family and I can barely feed ourselves and pay for my mother's medicine, she was diagnosed with lupus more than 10 years ago and she's fighting very hard to survive.
Now Kirara's sickness has hit us very hard, she is not only our cat but our best friend. She lost her appetite, then started loosing alot of weight.we did not have money to go to the vet..so a few weeks later my brother, had a few bucks to take her and the vet told him that Kirara has something stuck in her stomach and they needed to do xrays which would we pretty pricey and if she didnt get better, start eating and such they would have to do surgery. We waited about another 3 weeks, kirara has lost 4 pounds and looks very miserable. My brother took her again to the vet for these xrays, she is a unique cat and only likes to be touched by her family,so she gave the vet a hard time and they couldn't get her xrays done...Apparently she needs to be put to sleep because she wouldn't be able to handle anasthesia. The vet doesn't seem very reliable to me, she doesn't even know what Kirara has,so the easiest way to go is by putting her to sleep. And after they "tried" to do these x-rays she came out with a big cut on the back of her neck, which we had never seen before...When we heard that,we were so devastated, I personally couldn't stop crying for two days straight and everytime i see her,i cringe. We can't picture our lives with out her,she isn't just another cat,she is a being in our family, our best friend.
We are trying to raise money for her medical expenses. We would love to take her to another vet,get a second opinion and hopefully get blood samples, deworm her if she needs to etc..
On the other hand there is not alot of time because we don't want her to suffer anymore...But it's really hard to say goodbye.
Whoever has a heart and knows how hard it would be to lose your feline friend, please help her.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.We will give updates and pictures..etc Thank You
