IU Day Update (5:30 p.m.): Wow! Thank you to all who donated to the IUSSW Alumni scholarship campaign! Because of your help we have decided to increase our goal by another $500. We are so thankful to all of those who support us. This increased goal will help us be able to award a 2nd scholarship to another deserving IUSSW student. Be on the lookout for future updates!

Supporting Social Work students financially and emotionally is crucial during their academic careers. The IUSSW Alumni Association Scholarship endowment helps students meet their college expenses like tuition and books. It also supports and encourages them through the many challenges they may encounter while trying to juggle school, employment, practicums and expenses.

The campaign goal is to raise $1,000 to support an IUSSW social work student. Whether it is 40 alumni donating $25 each or 200 alumni donating $5 each, combined gifts can provide one $1,000 scholarship to a student in need. Your gift will support a student in the top 10% of the class who is active in community service and demonstrates financial need.

With roughly 90% of social students receiving some form of financial assistance, a $1,000 scholarship will help a student focus more fully on one’s education, and graduate on time.

Your support is appreciated!
