We are raising funds to take 10 Michigan carpenters to Trades Women Build Nation 2025! Our locals can't fund us, but we're going anyway. TWBN is an invaluable experience that shouldn't be taken away from our carpenters.

We are asking for YOUR HELP to send Michigan Union Carpenters and Millwrights to The North American Building Trades Union’s Trades Women Build Nation 2025 conference -- the only conference of its kind.
Our Union President has restricted our local chapters' ability to sponsor us for TWBN. But here's why we think it's worth attending:
It is a place we get to learn about the nuances of being a woman in trades *from* other women in trades. TWBN brings together apprentices, journeymen, retirees, as well as other notable figures in the construction world, and creates a space to learn, ask questions, share stories and advice, and become inspired and empowered. The goal of the conference is to uplift our tradeswomen, inspire recruitment and retention, build leadership skills, and create support networks, it's necessary, as still only 4 percent of workers in the construction field are women.
But, we need your help, as our locals cannot sponsor us this year. Are you willing to donate what you can to help us reach our goal of $5,000 to send 10 sisters to Trades Women Build Nation 2025? Anything you’d be willing to give would be graciously received.
Donate today to help show our President that TWBN is an essential resource for fostering growth in the next generation of tradeswomen.
