I can only say because I witness daily my 10 year old German Shepard struggling to keep up.wanting to walk with me less and less she loves me so much and we have had such great times late night walks trips to farm back country to chase foxes we followed a skunk for a month would you believe they take the same trail nightly same time about I learned this and was amazed rivers and creeks our many squirrel chasing adventures, she loves so much. She recently cut her dew claw pad had to get stitches it was 2900 and I just couldn't imagine the thought of not being able to fix her up,it has slowed her down a little along with age our walks our getting shorter and it really breaks my heart it just makes me sad to think she is getting into senior age bracket .she I pray has many more to come.I started thinking how hard it is for homeless dogs most of all the older ones they have struggled for all the years and deserve comfort and protection and love.I would like to see the world if street dogs mainly seniors to be protected fed relax content for the later years of there lives because they love us so much u continually unconditionally they protect us and are always there for us we need to do the same or make sure ours and others can have the living necessities to be able to enjoy there golden years and feel safe and have full tummy's so they can focus on relaxing and enjoying life's short dogs are even shorter they need us we need them and I want to see all senior dogs content and safe without a worry or a struggle being able to survive without much effort towards the actual survival that they know with out worrying about food or shelter or have there medical needs met I mean they can't do it for themselves that's what hits me the hardest because it they could I'm sure they would take care of themselves and there families or caretakers or owners.
