Can we turn seven little prayers into 700 or 7000? My mother, Michaela, suffered a stroke and has been hospitalized since. I am reaching out for donations to cover the mounting bills, expenses, and her aftercare.

(L)OMA, (M)SISSY, (R)MY MOTHER AGE8?
Our household like any other is never normal. I have a zoo of cats, a house with too many doors and a monster garden that looks like it wants to eat me. Despite not coming from a lot of money, my mother's tireless efforts to keep up appearances show how important it is to her to have the beautiful home we have. It’s my duty to ensure that it stays that way. My mother’s running jab is that I better not burn the house down.
KIWI
Adding to the chaos, I'm out of work due to having a collapsed hip that needs surgery. My dad, the trooper, is keeping strong despite three broken ribs from a recent "fall". At that point, both of my parents were in the same hospital at the same time, which made visiting hours easier. I have to laugh because I know I'm next.
JASPER & FREYA
So far we have hospital bills are piling up, other bills and expenses adding up quick, and the house has befallen to the weeds. I’m find myself having a tough time keeping it all together.
Mom+Dad
My goal is to make my mother's house smarter, so she doesn’t have to work three times as hard as she should. She will resist but resistance is futile. I'd like set up a smart assistant, including a Voice/Video doorbell and a smart door lock. These upgrades would ensure her safety and provide her with the convenience of being just a voice command away from assistance.
SKITTLES
For her beloved cats, I'd like to get a self-cleaning litter boxes and a smart pet food dispenser. Anyone who knows my mother knows she keeps a spotless house, so a RoboMop would be a perfect addition to help with their messy eating habits.
KUJO & JUNO
In the end, these upgrades would reduce her constant bending over, lifting of heavy bags, manual scooping/cleaning and other back breaking tasks. These upgrades would greatly improve my mother's quality of life physically and mentally and would help her maintain her health easier. These are trying times for our family, but our Berlin roots keep us tough and determined to move forward.
GIZMO
Every donation, no matter how small or large, will be deeply appreciated. With each donation, a penny prayer (a prayer note written myself along with a penny) will be dropped into the prayer box at the chapel at Mercy Hospital here in my town.
RALPHIE
Please feel free to share the link to this page with family and friends. This is my first time doing something like this, and I initially felt alone starting out. However, I have hope that by reaching out, I can connect with others in similar situations and let them know they are not alone. I will post updates on her condition as soon as I get over this cold.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
