SheenCon began in 2020 as a way to bring Michael Sheen fans together in a time of uncertainty and cancelled conventions. It proved itself to be a success despite it being put together in a matter of two weeks time. HalloSheen followed in October of 2020. With the world still slowed by COVID, SheenCon 2021 hopes to continue the magic of fandom.
Costs for SheenCon include a Zoom subscription, game website subscriptions in order to run our games and quizzes, prize costs, and shipping costs as we have friends from all over the world that things may need to be shipped to.
We plan to keep SheenCon free as always, but the two conventions have cost us over $1000 -- we have been lucky, thanks to donations and fundraising, to cover some of these costs from the last two events.
We greatly appreciate your support. All money raised from this Kickstarter will go directly into SheenCon 2021 to bring you (hopefully) the best event yet.
