I am a disabled and incurably ill single mother facing hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical expenses. One med alone is $200,000 a year. My ex recently stopped paying child support and I need a little extra help.

In March of 2020 I suddenly became a single parent in a pack your bags and leave in the night situation. Two weeks later Covid hit and I was furloughed from my teaching job. During the pandemic I worked to build my own business and was beginning to find success when my health started to decline.
After about 18 months, and many doctors I was finally diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, along with a slurry of secondary conditions. While this is typically a slowly progressing illness, it is incurable and so far mine has been resistant to treatment and progressing quite quickly.
I have had to greatly cut back on work while going through this process or trying a variety of immune suppressing cocktails and learning to manage and prevent flares. Due to this, I have been largely dependent on child support payments to live and provide for my six year old daughter.
With my ex having recently stopped paying, the lack of work I've had and the medical expenses I have found myself in a pretty good little bind. I am currently working with a team of 8 different doctors and specialists and just one of the meds I'm currently on is around $200,000 a year.
Any money raised will go directly towards helping to pay bills and medical expenses. I have held on so tightly while the rope has been unraveling and I am at the point now that I just have to admit that I need some help. I really believe that lifting some of the financial stress and burden will allow me to focus on healing and slowing down the progression of my AS, as well as allowing me to be more present in these days with my young daughter.
It feels insane to ask strangers on the internet for help, but I have immense gratitude for those who can help and do. Thank you in advance to any and all that feel the pull to help my little family.
