About My Campaign

SkillCorps is the Global Autism Project's signature training program.  Therapists and teachers, who work with people with autism, apply to travel to our partner sites and provide hands-on training to supplement the ongoing training that the Global Autism Project provides to our partners year-round.

We are committed to implementing sustainable, long-term systemic change and for that reason, all of our travel programs include extensive pre-departure support and communication with our partners internationally.  We build local capacity to provide high-quality effective services to individuals with autism.  In order to do that - we need to ensure that skills are being taught in a comprehensive, culturally responsive and meaningful way.  Your support of your friend or family member traveling with us ensures that our organization will be able to continue meeting the needs of people with autism in under-resourced areas worldwide.
