The King Kennedy Community Center was opened in the late 70's when Ravenna was named one of the worst rural areas in America. The center serves as a community haven where community member can come to learn, laugh and grow.
While the King Kennedy Community Center works with people of all ages, some of its larger programs focus on working with children. For example, on Tuesdays and Thursdays the center offers after-school tutoring to the children of the surrounding community. Other programs include community meal assistance, health fairs, and other various community building events
Currently, the King Kennedy Community Center has very little resources and just two people on staff. They are in immense need of help and since Kent State students helped start the center we want to see them stay open and continue to help the community.
Please help the King Kennedy Community Center continue to help the local Ravenna community!
