Our family (Laura, Dave, & daughter Ahlena) saw the crisis in Syria as an opportunity to help. We decided to turn the maple trees in our yard into a fundraiser, tapping the trees and making 100% pure maple syrup to sweeten the generosity of anyone willing to join us on our journey. As of 2022 we have raised over $12,000 for the International Rescue Committee for its work with Syrians impacted by war.
