About Me

I am a FOLLOWER of Christ, wife to Jim, mother to Greyson and Jasmine, CEO of Fun Nite Art, friend and community member who has a huge heart for helping others. My passion in life is to EMPOWER others by sharing CONFIDENCE with them. I believe that when you can influence one by helping improve their confidence; they will begin to improve their own life and situation. This mission fits perfectly into my lifes mission... plus, GOD told me to do it! :)

More Info

We are leading a second team of Artists, Cooks, Carpenters and Christians of various skill who desire to share the Love of Jesus to the people of Magdalena, Guatemala. Tammy (Fun Nite Art) is friends with Ben and Jennifer Kunkel who are serving as full-time missionaries there, with their family of 5 boys ages 4 to 13. They live in Magdalena to provide support to Carlos and Telma Lopez who run three Trade Schools: Art school, Cooking school and Carpentry school.

We just traveled to Magdalena and helped kick off the beginning of their school year by teaching art and cooking classes. Valley christians made of up multi-denominations and families are welcome to go over to visit Magdalena to help with the teaching at the art school, the cooking school and the carpentry school... and/or to help to share the love and gospel of Christ through home visits. Most of our team members from our January trip were first-time missionaries. Their experiences were priceless... and it was amazing to watch them impact the Guatemalan's for Christ and build lasting relationships!

Our January trip was a very quick turn around! Our family raised $4,800 from Oct 30 to Dec 1st! Amazing! This time we are planning a little further ahead to prepare for our return trip in July! GOD made the call. We answered in January... and we are answering again in July! Two trips in His QUICK timing!

God used us in very big ways during this past trip! This July team will be about raising funds for the new Love Guatemala facility, as well as continuing to build deeper relationships with the Students in Magdalena and Buena Vista, Guatemala. As with all Mission trips, we know God has a plan. Please join us in Prayer and asking God to guide and prepare our hearts for how He will use this July team. Although we are going to help others, we have also been praying that we will open our hearts, minds, and souls to the opportunity for change and growth that will occur from this trip.

As a part of the preparation we must not only raise enough support to provide a way to visit the village, but also provide the students and their families with necessary provisions. The cost of trip is $1200.00 USD per person. This will help to fund travel expenses and meals for ONE traveller and necessary supplies for the execution of our trip. We are asking you for whatever help you may feel that you are able to provide towards our efforts.

There are a few ways you can help:

1) Your help may also come through encouragement or prayer. In fact, prayer is the most important form of help that we need. As the group prepares to visit Guatemala, we need your prayers for guidance in carrying out God's will, His safety, and ensuring the people of Guatemala are served, and that we are moved through His will.

2) Please select a SUPPORTER and place a monetary donation via this website. You can select your team member by choosing a "Supporter" on the right of this page... those are the individuals who are attending the trip. When you choose a "Supporter" you are applying your donation to that individual's Fundraising goals. General donations will be distributed among those attending.

3) Please consider participating in our Fun$Raising events sponsored by Fun Nite Art. We will be having 3 painting parties! You will leave having painted your very own masterpiece--no skill required! Just visit the website at www.FunNiteArt.com to register for these events!

We would also like to share the trip experience with you in person, if possible. Leading up to and after the trip, if you have any questions or would like to share your thoughts, please contact us. After the trip, we will have a social gathering, so the group can share photos and our experiences with you! We will also share our photos and experiences as much as possible via social media... so you can follow us in real-time!

Thank you for taking the time to read this and please let us know if you need anything at all to help you make your decision.

Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We welcome others to join us! If you are feeling led to join us, please contact us and we will send you an application!
