I finished an M.Ed. in December 2023 while working part-time in Vietnam. It took all my savings to do it. I have a new job offer but cannot afford all the paperwork. I'm 56 with diabetes, living on $1000 a month.

As a 56-year-old American with diabetes and a neuromuscular disease called CAV-3, which has become more problematic in the last few years, I'm currently living in Vietnam on a part-time salary of $1,000 a month. I completed my Master's Degree in December 2023, which I financed. I've recently secured a full-time job starting in January, but I cannot afford all the necessary paperwork for my dog and myself. I am not abandoning him like many foreigners do when they leave. But, because of a few job scams and unscrupulous recruiters that canceled on me for using a cane to walk. I cannot afford to do it on my own. If you have a moment, could you help me cover these costs and a ticket for my dog and me? I am hoping for $500 to help finish paperwork and Visa stuff; the rest is to help with miscellaneous costs and book flights that allow me to take my dog.
I plan to use any remaining funds to support projects on donorschoose.com. Your help in getting me into this full-time job would be greatly appreciated. Because of the ongoing problems with Cav-3, this will probably be my last ESL job before coming home.
