Thankful Hearts Take-N-Bake 2014

Thanksgiving is a special time for families and friends, but it can also be a trying time for budgets. Many families feel the strain on their wallets – maybe it’s your neighbor taking care of her grandchildren, or a family who has lost an income and could use a little help throughout the holiday season.

No matter the circumstance, Thankful Hearts would like to help by giving these families a Thanksgiving Dinner Box with all of the “fixins” (including turkey, ham, stuffing, and more – even dessert!) that they can take home and prepare to their liking in the comfort of their own home while continuing their own Thanksgiving traditions.

If you know of a family in need of a Thanksgiving Dinner Box, please contact us at thankfulheartslc@gmail.com for a Family Nomination Form. Families must be residents of Lumpkin County.

We are also looking for sponsors for these families. It only takes $75 to feed a family of six a great Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. Whether you are a local business owner or just have a caring heart, you can make a difference by helping to support a family in our community!
