My name is Dieter Homburg, and I am the founder of The Talisman Turtle Project™ — a mission-driven nonprofit initiative committed to transforming the lives of underprivileged children by providing them with educational resources, mentorship, and safe spaces to grow, learn, and thrive.

• A turtle for resilience, wisdom, and steady progress — no matter how tough the journey.

In today’s world, countless children grow up in environments that are chaotic, under-resourced, and lacking positive adult support. We want to change that narrative — not with band-aid solutions, but through intentional programs that offer long-term mentorship, structured education, emotional support, and community safety.

We envision a world where children can dream bigger and climb higher — not in spite of their circumstances, but because someone believed in them early enough to invest in their growth.

As we prepare to launch The Talisman Turtle Project™, our immediate goal is to raise $10,000 to cover:

• State licensing and legal fees to officially register as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

• Administrative and filing costs related to forming the foundation.

• Initial outreach materials (digital, print, and web presence) to spread awareness.

• Operational tools to prepare for mentorship onboarding and community partnerships.

This is the groundwork — the very roots from which our future programs will grow.

Once established, our nonprofit will roll out structured programs focused on:

• Academic enrichment and tutoring.

• Mentorship from trusted and trained volunteers.

• Workshops and safe community events for social-emotional learning.
