A Story of Resilience: A Single Mother's Journey from Homelessness to Entrepreneurship

When the pandemic struck, I found myself in an unimaginable position - homeless with my teenage daughter. It wasn't just the loss of our home; it was the loss of our sense of security and stability. As a mother, my heart ached every day watching my daughter struggle through these circumstances. But I knew I had a choice: either let this situation defines us or rise above it.

I chose to rise.

Our path was anything but easy. We spent countless nights uncertain about the futures. mu teenage daughter, who had her own challenges, needed guidance, and I knew I had to be strong not just for myself, but for her.  Despite our circumstances, I never stopped dreaming. I envisioned a business - a chance to build something that would not only bring stability back to our lives but allow us to thrive. That Dream is Anastasia Holdings, LLC DBA Town Flowers - a floral wholesale business and cargo -hauling trucking company that can provide opportunities not only for my daughter and me, but for other women like us, looking for a second chance.

Today, I am on the verge of turning that dream into a reality, but I need your help to cross the finish line. To get our business off the ground, we need to cover some startup expenses: 

• Insurance and Licensing costs to ensure that we can operate legally and safely ($3900.00)
• Truck Down Payment ($7,000.00)
• Florist Certification Fees ($900.00) to guarantee the highest quality in our floral services " I have years of "On the Job" Floral Training and experience
• Arizona/California Floral Association Membership Fees ($2,000.00)
• Operating Capital fund ($5,000) which will allow us to manage our first month of business operational costs and Fuel needs to ensure smooth operating.
• MCDOT permit fee ($300.00) necessary for hauling cargo and flowers across state lines

These initial costs are essential in allowing us to move forward. I've already overcome so much, and my daughter is my inspiration to keep pushing. Together, we've learned the true meaning of resilience, and now, we are ready to build something that will not only sustain us but empower us.
