More Info

I have a wonderful opportunity to return to India and enrich the lives of children in need. Please join me and together we will transform lives one child at a time. All contributions, big and small, make a vast difference with infinite ripple effects.

After traveling to India in 2012, I fell in love with the country and the beautiful Indian people! I have been attempting to return ever since. In having this wonderful opportunity to travel back to India as a tourist volunteer, I will be able to give back to the local residents of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Due to how the Travel Visa is set up, we will be doing so many hours of Cultural Tourism and the remaining time will be spent Volunteering. So you will see photos of my group traveling, but even during my times of traveling.....I am still touching the lives of the Indian people just like I did last trip!

There are many opportunities that I can take advantage of to give back that include:

  •     Working with the homeless children
  •     Working with the children in the Music College
  •     Assisting the Blind in the Music Program
  •     Teach English
  •     Elephant Care

I will be matched up with the best programs for the time I have in India. To learn more about the program I will with working with,

Be sure to click the arrows to view all the photos showing the Volunteer Opportunities past the initial video.

Please visit: Travel as Volunteer   www.travelasvolunteer.org

The program fees I pay for my Volunteer Travel all go to support the Blind citizens of India at the Music College allowing them to attend at no cost covering their tuition, instruments and all fees for the music competition. As well provide books, blankets and warm clothing for the poor or homeless children in the region of Jaipur.

I am very excited about this phenomenal opportunity yet finding I really need some extra assistance to help make this all possible. I have set a goal requesting funds to help offset my travel costs, cost of my time in country and the rest will go to the organization to continue to help after I return to the US. I am embarking on this humanitarian journey all on my own dime. I am not being sponsored by any other organizations nor is this considered missionary work.

I will be living with a local host family and all my costs are included in my main program fee that I must pay.

I am also asking if anyone has old children's clothing or small (happy meal like toys) they would like to donate. Please message me about these items and I can arrange how to receive them from you. I will be transporting all these items in my luggage, anything that I cannot fit will be donated to local children in our region.

Volunteering and giving back is something I hold near and dear to my heart. I volunteer in many capacities in my local community and I now have the chance to take that to a much grander scale! The ripple effects will be profound! This trip is completely on my own dime, I am not sponsored nor doing missionary work. Any and all donations are assisting me make this trip come into fruition along with my own personal savings. I am NOT a non-profit nor charity, so your donations are viewed as gifts, sorry you can not write them off.

Please feel free to send any items you think the kids would enjoy or little notes from children here in the US. We all enjoy knowing we have a connection with another person, it will brighten their lives to know someone here in the US cares about them!

I want to share my gratitude with you for your giving from the heart to such a great cause. I'm sure you all are aware how much I enjoy sharing my love with others and what better way for me to do just that.

I (we) appreciate each and every one of you for your love, compassion and support of my return trip to India to transform the lives of these children!

** Once all is in place, I will post a link to my travel blog so you can follow along during my journey to see how much your donations made an impact on the lives of the Indian people. **

Much LOVE to you as I share love with the beautiful people of India!

Here is me riding one of the elephants I will help tend to

This was taken during my 2012 trip to India. I am riding into the Amber Fort located in Jaipur, India

Such a grand entrance I made! I look forward to helping care for the elephants when I return to India in March.
