My name is Raul Rivera Tapia, Mexican Army Veteran, originally from the city of Valladolid, Yucatan, Mexico. Magical town of the country, my idea is to promote low-cost tourism, since the increase in prices for lodging in the city has been seen due to the implementation of the Mayan Train.

In addition, it would help the community in the generation of jobs and improve their quality of life, socialization and coexistence with people from other states of the republic and other countries.

Making known the Mayan culture and the traditions that emanate from it.

The initial project consists of the adaptation of a home to accommodate and provide security and comfort to visitors to the city, at a low cost, considering only the minimum payment for basic services such as water, electricity and internet.

It consists of accommodation for 8 people (hostel) in two rooms (8 in each room) and single beds, shared bathroom, living room, kitchen with accessories, pool and traditional Mayan dining room, in accordance with the Yucatan Peninsula.

It is worth noting that this city, Valladolid, is the link between the cities of Mérida and Cancún, as well as a plaza with a terminal for the Mayan Train.

It is expected that this type of accommodation will project the city of Valladolid as one of the most visited tourist sites in Yucatán.

As an additional project, the acquisition of a means of transportation for visitors is planned to take them to the emblematic places near the city, such as the archaeological sites of Chichen Itzá, Ekbalam, Uxmal, Cobá, as well as the churches of the city and the nearby cenotes.

It is worth noting that the requested resource will help cover the costs of adapting the housing, the salary of the people who will attend to the visitors, maintenance and the payment of basic services for a period of one year, The goal is to raise USD 132,000.

To date we have 9 people working, 2 in the dining room, 2 who are in charge of cleaning the bedrooms and the house in general, 2 for maintenance of the facilities, 1 at reception and 2 as security at night, each rotating one day.

The facility also has the necessary land for campers to reach the place and install their accessories, giving them security in their accommodation for the duration of their stay in the city.

Campaigns are planned to begin in the United States and Latin America, although it is not ruled out that in the future they will expand to other continents, depending on the influx of people and the recommendations made by visitors.
