Cobweb has been experiencing some digestive issues lately that need to be treated. Also greatly of concern is the fact that her pica has been getting increasingly worse.
She's eaten bits of cat toys, rugs, kitchen towels, bathroom towels, curtains, blankets, bed sheets, slippers, and clothing.
I have been doing everything I can to manage it by giving her healthy varied food and additional supplements, daily CBD, keeping towels out of reach, restricting access to certain rooms, lots of play, cuddles, daily grooming, and giving her a "safe" room for quiet time (and so I can safely leave her unattended, such as to shower or go out).
I've reached the limit of what I can do, as this current bout of illness has spiked her pica to the point where she will even chew on my clothing when she's in my lap. It is affecting my ability to sleep as I have to ensure she's not chewing on my bedding at night.
I need to treat the digestive trouble. I also need to get tests run to see if there's an underlying health issue or deficiency causing the pica. If not, I will be looking into medication options. I want my cat to be healthy and happy and not at risk of blockage from eating fabric and fibers.
