Tulsa SRA Health Kit Fundraiser

Today we are formally finishing this fundraising campaign because we have reached all of our preliminary goals, meaning every request we received that we were able to fulfill, we have! We wrapped up just shy of 100 request for the first part of this project, with plans to continue and expand in the coming month. Hey everyone! It's been a crazy week as we wrap up the first phase of this community mutual aid project. Requests have slowed down this week, which is definitely a good thing- we definitely don't like the idea of our community being MORE in need.
We are also doing some major regrouping for this project, as we weigh considerations about moving into a new spot- this would give us the ability to start distributing perishable items as well!
This fundraiser will be closing soon as we re-organize the structure of this project, and we want to say thank you, again, to everyone who has contributed and supported this mission. We couldn't have done this without you and we are looking forward to what we can do next!

We've spent the last few days catching up deliveries, getting kits made and routes planned, and we are ready to start the next round of requests soon! As of today we have received 91 requests that we are able to fill- 100 won't be far away at all. When we started we had no idea how long it would take us to the first fifty, and now, 12 days after making our first deliveries, we're almost to 100. Knowing that we've been able to help 100 households in the Tulsa-area is just awesome to us. Our deepest gratitude to everyone that has helped and supported this project!

As of yesterday, we crossed 80 requests from around the Tulsa metro-area! At 75 household requests, and 5 individual, that is up to 300 people that we've been able to help with groceries and basic medical supplies. When we receive messages like this from our recipients, it just encourages us even more to keep it going. From the bottom of our hearts, and from the people receiving our kits, thank you for your support and donations.

We have received as of today, 70 confirmable requests- we are amazed at how many people we've been able to help in our community and are looking forward to helping even more!
Despite reaching our emergency fundraising goal, we will be leaving this fundraiser open for the duration of its scheduled time, for any others who would like to help out and follow along with our mission. We have nothing but the deepest thanks for everyone who has donated so far!

We reached our goal and we are extremely grateful to everyone who contributed! We have every intention of continuing our mission, and have a few announcements next week about how we plan to keep moving forward!

We finished our week with 34 total deliveries- all but 2 of these were household kits, designed to aid a household of 3-4. Even though we wish we could do more, we are proud of what we have currently been able to offer to approximately 100 people in the Tulsa metro area. We have another 20 requests in the queue already for next week! So there's still lots of work to do and lots of good to bring to the people in our communities.

As of today we have delivered 30 household kits across the Tulsa metro, from Jenks, to Sand Springs, to Owasso, to Broken Arrow. We have fulfilled requests entirely in Spanish. And we are still going! We continue to move through our request list and get kits into our quarantine room. We would like to close out this fundraiser at a nice even $1000 (or more, let's be frank lol) but we are also working hard on connecting other supply lines. We welcome in-kind donations and would love a chance to receive some bulk donations- feel free to get in contact with us if you'd like to help out with that!

We have had an awesome week so far getting household kits delivered! All the requests have been fulfilled, and everything that hasn't already made its way to a household is in quarantine, awaiting its delivery date. We have also added Spanish translations to our request form!

Today we had our first full day of deliveries, and distributed 10 household kits directly to families in need. We'll be back at it again tomorrow!

We reached our second goal of $750 and we can't thank everyone enough! Because of our supporters, we are able to provide grocery and medical items to 31 families (approximately 100 people) in our community- and it doesn't stop here, we're happy to keep going as long as we've got the energy and resources! We'll be raising our fundraising cap once more to help keep our momentum going. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all.

Yesterday we finished Day 2 of cleaning and quarantining tubs. We’ve now replied to 30 families about receiving aid, and have one more round of tubs to pack and quarantine for right now. We are extremely grateful to everyone who has donated so far. Our biggest ask for right now is to be able to purchase more tubs and donations so that we can keep helping our community!

The amount of responses we have received for both donations and requests has been incredible, and in light of some very generous donors that we are deeply grateful to, we are raising the fundraising cap for this campaign because there's no reason to stop the work anytime soon. There's a need and we hope to help, and with everyone, we can. Thank you all!
