Update #2

Thanks to so many generous contributors to the W. Bradford & Co. Hurricane Irma Matching Fund, we are honored to announce our first $3,000 donation to Eddy and DeeDee Ruiz of Big Pine Key, Florida. After the storm, nothing was left of their home or personal belongings. Due to severe illness and an ongoing wait for a liver transplant, Eddy had been unable to work. DeeDee had been working long hours at a grocery store to make ends meet. The medical bills had been piling up. Then, Hurricane Irma arrived and destroyed their home and a lifetime of personal belongings. Now, even though so much was lost, this tough duo is building a new life with the help of the community. We're deeply humbled that our donation to the Ruiz couple will be covering six months of their rent. We will be presenting them with a check and learning more about their story soon, so stay tuned. Please join us in our wishes and prayers for Eddy and DeeDee – you've got this!

More Info

W. Bradford & Co. is a Miami-based company. In addition to our team's evacuation from the storm's path, we have been mindful of those around the state in harm's way. While we are grateful to have dodged the brunt of the storm, others were not so lucky, especially in the Keys, which were devastated. Now, we're giving back to the community that has been so loyal to our growth.

W. Bradford & Co. will match up to $2,500 of all funds raised through this campaign to aid those suffering and rebuilding in the Florida Keys. 100% of all donations will go to this effort.

We invite you to donate generously to help real families and businesses get back on their feet. If we can meet our collective goal of $5,000 by the end of September, we know this can help provide hope to people who may be struggling to see a path forward.

We will share the stories of those who receive the campaign funds in the following months. Thanks in advance for your generous and heartfelt donations to a worthy cause.

Update #1

We are pleased to share that we have reached our campaign goal of $2,500 with eight days still remaining for donations. In the coming days we will be announcing the recipients – one small business and one family, both devastated by Hurricane Irma – who will each receive $2,500 to help restore hope for their brighter future. W. Bradford & Co. thanks you for your kindness and support in uniting with us for this inspiring effort.
