The Walden University Chapter of the Golden Key International Honour Society is dedicated to the SPARK a Change initiative which strives to improve the lives of at-risk youth.
As part of the annual SPARK drive, Golden Key Chapters around the world host a variety of events to advance the initiative. Through focused attention over the month of October, the SPARK campaign can make a difference through members and people just like you.
The goal of the Walden SPARK a Change event, titled SPARK an Imagination Through Reading, is to raise money to supply funds to a local school library. The funds will be used by the school to purchase materials, fund enrichment activities, provide critical funding to reading programs, and more. Our goal is to raise $2,000 to be donated directly to the school.
No donation is too small and every dime makes a difference. With Walden Chapter members number over 5,000 we can SPARK A CHANGE in the lives of students through reading.
