As you all know, surgeries and hearworm treatments are very expensive. In our rescue, 75% of the dogs that we take in, need surgery, specialists for severe skin issues, eye issues, broken bones, heartworm treatment.
Some need special diets for severe allergies, bladder stones, etc. All of these conditions are expensive to treat and give continued care. These expenses are not counting the regular spay/neuter, shots, heartworm test, or any basic veterinary exam and testing.
Without your help, we cannot continue rescuing these dogs who are plagued with such issues, which are treatable. Without you, we cannot afford to have them get back to being healthy, the way they once were and be given a second chance in living in a loving forever home instead of a stray, in pain and/or dying.
Our goal is to raise $7000 to pay the latest surgeries in order to be able to save more dogs who need that same type of care.
The abandoned, neglected, abused were not born to be. They need us to be able to live a happy, healthy dog life with a loving family.
Please consider helping these babies who are so appreciative for having been rescued and not be in pain anymore; for being fed every day and just being petted and hugged!
Many more are waiting for that same second chance...

Our new little rescue boy, Wiggins, is in the hospital since Friday. He came in rescue from a local shelter, not feeling well and coughing. He went downhill very fast and we had to take him to the hospital in emergency. He was put on fluids and antibiotics. We are hoping he will pull through.
We will keep you updated on what happens to Wiggins. You can sponsor him and help with his hospitalization by making a donation through this link.

Three dogs were pulled from a local shelter last week the morning they were going to be euthanized. Two have kennel cough, one has pneumonia. They are being treated and quarantined right now.
The three others are a Shih Tzu mom, Mingmei, and her 2 baby girls, Lu Chu and Jia Li. All three of them were severely infested with fleas and to make things worse, the skin scratching came out positive for Sarcoptic Mange! Only 2 months old and already depleted and fighting to stay alive. Of course, they are anemic.
The girls were strays and we have no way of knowing if there were more than two babies.
They will also need to be quarantined for a good while and will need treatment for the mange. Their vet bill is $631 added to what we need to cover for right now. This is only the beginning of the treatment.
Again, we need your help. Please consider contributing to their treatment

GIBBS is a small Yorkie boy who has a very hard time walking as his joints are locked. He can lie down but cannot sit normally like other dogs, as his knees are out of joint; so are his wrists and elbows.
He is the sweetest little guy and needs meds to help with the discomfort.
PLEASE HELP but sponsoring GIBBS

21% of our campaign has been reached. We still have ways to go to reach our goal. We have several seniors with eye issues who need to be helped. Demi is a young Yorkie girl who needs cataract surgery. She is blind and she is only 3 years old. The surgery will fix this and she will have her eyesight back for the rest of her life.
Iolas, Maraschino, Demi, Scone, Custard, Montgomery, young Carnation are only a few that we rescued with eye issues and need to see an ophthalmologist. Their eye problems are fixable but we need funds to do it. In many cases, the eye problem they have are painful. PLEASE consider helping one of these babies and/or a senior that needs to be rescued. Gibbs cannot sit normally because his knees are locked and his wrists are the same. He can lie down with some effort. He is only 5 years old... Toffee's knees are locked and has an abnormal way of walking...
PLEASE HELP THESE BABIES...
