Non-profit organizations which create better worlds for wildlife have given many people amazing opportunities. What was a blog for sharing one person's wildlife photography with like-minded individuals, Wild Expectations, has turned into a small, unofficial non-profit group built to support environmental conservation locally and globally by acting as a pot which other non-profit organizations can draw resources from. Through the use of photography, educational hikes, state-of-the art technology, and dedicated explorers and volunteers, we work to inspire and educate people about our natural world. This is how we thank nature and the non-profit organizations that have given us adventures, great appreciation, life lessons, and a reason.
Wild Expectations is also hard at work to bring you "Life on Paws®" which specializes in Threatened and Endangered species, like the Andean Mountain Cat, California Condor and the Santa Catalina Island Fox. Threatened and Endangered species are one of the most important reasons why we, as humans, seek to preserve our world. We are bringing these amazing animals and conservation efforts to your doorstep with virtual newsletters, emails, Facebook updates, and soon (date to be announced) a monthly online magazine.
The non-profit organizations currently "under out wing" are Felidae Conservation Fund (global wild cat conservation), Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue, West County Hawk Watch sponsored by Sonoma Land Trust.
By taking it a step further and choosing to make monthly donations or donate $500 or more, you will be become part of our Heart of a Lion club members, who will receive all the WEEC e-mails we have to offer including Pictures of the Week, News from WEEC, and Wild Expectation's Online Magazine. You will also be put on our Heart of a Lion Members list on our website and receive a Plaque of Honor to commemorate your donation.
