Were you stunned to tears by the images and stories, the unimaginable to homes, entire towns, bridges, and interstates.

Want to pack a punch & Do Good with me?

While no IronMan athlete, I am able bodied and hearty, with a new calendar year of vacation and a (rented) Transit cargo van. After 600 mi I’ll spend 6-9 days in Mitchell Co., lending a hand to the nonprofit Wilmington Response. Based in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, I will —

>Distribute Amazon WishList supplies incl. propane, fire wood, Buddy Heaters, Hot Tents, hot tent stoves, livestock feed, HotHand Warmers, sleeping bags, blankets + more.

>Provide local and distance transportation: Drive supplies from donation locations to Wilmington Response’s Wilmington, NC warehouse, drive supplies from warehouse to WNC.

>Packing, sorting, and preparing donations for dispatch.

>Social media, Data entry, Marketing

Join me & be part of something both terribly sad and affirming by supporting neighbors, and families whose losses seem endless, all crippling.  With winter in full effect, folks are diligently working to provide large fireproof structures, built on platforms, and equipped with wood stoves, cots, bedding, and the necessities to ensure warmth and survival for everyone in need.

Volunteers are also working hard to repair bridges, assist in recovery, deliver propane and fuel, and setting up residents for success by teaching them how to use the donated equipment efficiently, i.e., campers, wood stoves.

*As the area moves to a phase of rebuilding, the primary focus remains to repair homes so that families can return to homes of their own. This phase is costly and the region relies on donations to fund these projects.
