$10k in 10 days to celebrate 10 years!

In 2004, the YNPN network consisted of 6 chapters.

Today the network has grown to include chapters in 38 cities with 22 startup chapters in the works.

This is an incredibly exciting time for YNPN. After operating as an all-volunteer network for many years, we hired our first National Director in 2011. This year we hired our second-ever staff person and we are on track to hire our third staff person by the end of 2014.

This increased capacity has allowed us to increase the number and quality of the services we offer to young nonprofit professionals and elevate the visibility of the network and the needs of young professionals in the sector. The result is that our network has exploded in the last few years, increasing by an average of one chapter every month.

To keep up with it all, we’re making a big investment in setting up data systems and infrastructure that will take our network to the next level.

This fundraising campaign is about looking ahead to the next ten years of YNPN’s success and enhancing the tools and resources that will help us build a more diverse and powerful social sector.
