Yogurt does not have the use of his back legs and the front ones lack coordination. He needs an MRI and spinal tap to know where the injury is and treat it.

The MRI is normal. No malformation, birth defect, and he does not need surgery. It is suspected that his condition is caused by trauma (dropped on the head, kicked, hit). Still, to make sure that nothing has been overlooked, this blood test was needed. YOGURT is now on medication and will not get worse. We will continue the therapy, meds and he will improve. He has already improved from the time we got him. It's not the time to let him down when we are so close!
Yogurt (originally named Stinky) was relinquished to a local shelter by a woman who dropped him off and said that her health was more important than that dog and she didn't want him anymore. When asked why he had difficulty walking, she answered that he has always been that way and said he was 6 months old and his name was Stinky. She left without giving any more information on him.
We took him in our rescue and renamed him Yogurt. He has a great attitude. At first, he was afraid of everything and everyone but it did not take him long to trust me and let me touch him. He does have pain due nerve damage. You cannot really tell as he is so strong and determined!
He is a normal little dog on every aspect except the lack of coordination to walk. He is very smart, sweet and loving. We received pledges for his extensive vet care but we already went through that and he needs an MRI to determine where is the problem. The specialist is currently leaning toward an injury caused by trauma of some sort. Kicked, hit or dropped...
Yogurt is a wonderful little guy who had it rough so far and he needs help. He already saw a neurologist and was prescribed medication to bring him some relief.
He will need more care if we want him to ever walk again.
