PROJ-TECNO (Youth Technology Program)

The United States is a great country where there are many opportunities, but there is a group of vulnerable young people who do not have the same opportunities and they are Hispanic youth. They learn English in school, but when they finish 12th grade, they only have two options: work to contribute to the family economy, or work and maybe go to college. Unfortunately, 90% of Hispanic youth have to work at whatever they can, the only thing they have is English, which they did learn. Out there they will find great job opportunities in the technology area. If we provide the necessary learning resources, young people will learn and have a skill that will change their lives.

Our main reason is to give students a tool that will benefit them and strengthen their skills by learning a skill in educational workshops and TECHNOLOGY tutoring.

By learning the Basic Technology tools, young people in the future will be able to have better job opportunities or facilitate the application processes in their studies. We are a non-profit organization: and we are young people who want to change the history of many young people.

Our priority is young Hispanic students who are in grades 8 to 12. There are 1,200 young people who will soon leave school. Many of them have no goals. Others will look for the easiest way, drugs, theft, etc., and others will fight for a job where they can only earn a basic salary. It is time for us to change those opportunities. We need YOUR HELP. To make this project possible, with your contribution, we will pay the teachers' salaries, buy equipment, and a snack for the young people in each class. I think that all of us at some point in our lives have gone through this situation. If only we had learned before, my future would be different. Maybe others were born with a silver spoon in their mouth and everything was easy for them, but today we can make a difference. By investing in preparing the youth, we are ensuring that we have people capable of our development, since they will be our next governors, mayors, representatives, and even our future president.
